Summary of Position:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees the financial, investment, and business planning for the organization, and advises the chief executive officer (CEO) on financial decisions. The CFO’s responsibility includes the Sunflower Foundation and the newly opened Sunflower Nonprofit Center. The CFO reviews financial reports to manage the organization's budget and ensure that everyone is adhering to auditing and accounting policies. The CFO oversees the regular administration of the operation of the organization's facilities and equipment. In addition, the CFO is responsible for Human Resources including contracts for Benefit and Administration and HR consulting and administration.

The CFO is the primary contact for all external accounting, tax and investment consulting relationships; assures compliance to local, state and federal regulatory agencies; and will serve as an officer of the corporation.
