General Duties and Responsibilities
The Government Relations Coordinator is a mid-level position that provides support to the CEO, the board of directors, and the legislative committee to accomplish the Community Care Network public policy goals.

Public policy goals support increasing access to and quality of care, achieving health equity and reducing health disparities, and enhancing community care clinic financial sustainability and operational capacity. The position will monitor, analyze and help coordinates the organization’s response for existing or proposed federal and state policies and regulations that affect the Community Care Network of Kansas clinics and the patients they serve.

Primary Accountabilities (Responsibilities):
Reporting directly to the chief executive officer (CEO), the executive assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the CEO and the board of directors. Duties may be clerical, administrative and project-based and include scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests, preparing reports and correspondence and liaising with board members. The executive assistant will exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. This position is often privy to confidential information and as such, requires diplomacy and discretion.
