Journeyman Lineman

Immediate Opening

Nemaha-Marshall Electric Cooperative is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to join our organization headquartered in Axtell, KS. The Journeyman Lineman is responsible for providing manpower, knowledge and workmanship which are necessary to perform job duties for the proper construction, maintenance, and operation of the electric system. This position makes correct application and use of all materials and equipment furnished in order to provide efficient, reliable service to the member in the operation and maintenance of the electric system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with an electric utility, qualified journeyman line worker
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license (Class A Commercial Driver’s License)
  • Must have a broad knowledge of construction and maintenance of electrical distribution lines and service to and on consumer premises.
